Maintain with confidence

Log everything from oil changes to tire sizes, and get combined alerts before a threshold is crossed.

Packed with Powerful Features

CarKeeper provides robust local diagnostics and maintenance records without sacrificing your privacy.

Quick Service Logger

Instantly log common maintenance events (oil, tires, brakes, battery) using pre-configured chips, or customize custom events matching your garage rules.

Smart Threshold Reminders

Create reminder thresholds based on mileage limits, specific calendar dates, or combined logic. Receive notifications locally when either threshold fires.

Fuel Trends & Economy

Log fuel fillings, and let CarKeeper automatically compute fuel efficiency trends, mileage rates, and cost over time. Interactive charts visualize metrics.

Cost Breakdown

Access expense dashboards showing overall costs by vehicle profile or custom timeframes, categorized across parts, service tasks, and fuel expenses.

100% Offline Privacy

Your records stay local. CarKeeper uses a programmatic Core Data store to operate offline without third-party databases, user logins, or cookies.

PDF & CSV Export

Generate service logs in polished PDF layouts, export spreadsheets as CSV logs for custom bookkeeping, or create robust local JSON backups for easy migration.

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about setting up and using CarKeeper: Maintenance Log.

Is my vehicle data kept private?

Yes. CarKeeper does not transmit records to external servers. All vehicle details, photos, receipts, odometer history, and expense charts are saved inside your device's programmatic Core Data store. Files leave your app only when you explicitly export them.

How do combined reminders work?

Combined reminders trigger a notification based on "whichever comes first." For example, you can set an oil change reminder at 5,000 miles or 6 months. CarKeeper will fire a local alert as soon as either of those conditions is satisfied.

How do I transfer my database to a new iPhone?

You can use the local backup features in Settings. Tap "Export Backup" to generate a JSON file containing all vehicle details and records. Transfer this file to your new device (via AirDrop, email, or Files app) and choose "Import Backup" to restore your records instantly.

Can I log custom maintenance events?

Absolutely. While the app provides quick chips for common services (oil change, tire alignment, battery swap), you can input custom names for any service type. These are fully searchable and tracked under your expense analytics dashboards.
